Certified written translations - English to French and French to English

Certified translations can only be issued by expert translators licensed to do so by their local Court of Appeal.

A certified translation is not a mere translation of the words contained in your document. Its aim is to convey a meaning and look as similar as possible to the original document. A copy of the original is attached to the translation on which a certification stamp is affixed.

When the translation is meant to be sent to a foreign authority, a translator's certificate is also attached to the translation. It contains additional information on the capacity as a court certified translator and how to check that he/she is still validly licensed.

We can translate various types of documents such as birth certificates, court decisions, court petitions, bank statements, pay slips, driving licenses, letters, applications, diplomas and degrees, contracts. This list is not restrictive. Do not hesitate to send us a copy your documents to get a quote.

Interpretation services - English to French and French to English

Our interpretation services are provided mostly in court, at hearings, appointments, and interviews with law enforcement authorities, but they extend to various areas depending on our clients needs such notary appoinments, conferences, TV or radio interviews, business or work meetings.

Translation itself may be simultaneous or consecutive and may require one or several interpreters, depending on your needs and on technical possibilities.

The mission of the interpreter is to translate all that is said, but only what is said, to the best of his/her abilities in a given context. Confidentiality applies and we respect our customer's privacy.
